INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

(Professional installation recommended)

Take proper care not to damage the spoiler during handling and installation.

1. Clean and prepare trunk lid.

2. Insert Locator strips provided in

hardware kit into mounting holes.
Secure the strips with a small piece
of masking tape, to hold it temporarily.
The strips should be parallel to the spoiler.

3. Position the spoiler and find the
most suitable location on the trunk lid.
Be sure to measure and verify that the
spoiler is symmetrical from all angles.
4. Tape down the Locator strips.
5. Carefully remove the spoiler leaving the
locator strips taped to the trunk in position.
6. Use a 1/8" drill bit to drill a pilot hole
through the locator strips. If spoiler is
equipped with a brake light, locate and
drill a hole for the wire.
  7. Remove the hole locators and open
up the holes using a 3/8" drill bit.

  8. Treat all bare steel with rust proof paint.
  9. If spoiler requires brake light, feed the brake light wire through the channel and install the brake light using the screws provided for the light.
  10. Screw the spoiler in place using the screws provided. Tighten the screws by hand. Avoid over-tightening. CAUTION: Never use power tools to tighten fixing screws as this voids all warranty.
  11. If applicable hook up the brake light wire to the third brake light.

Be sure to remove all metal shavings and clean the trunk lid thoroughly!

CAUTION: Never use the spoiler as a handle to open or close the trunk lid.
